Global AI Cooperation Forum Concludes with International AI Industry Alliance as a Founding Contributor

On November 9, 2024, the inaugural Global AI Cooperation Forum, part of the 7th China International Import Expo, successfully took place at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai. Themed "New Consensus of Intelligence, New Era of Industry," the forum was organized by the Global Investment Promotion Center Committee and the Global AI Cooperation Forum Organizing Committee, with the International AI Industry Alliance (AIIA) as one of the founding contributors.
The AIIA joined forces with other prominent organizations such as Shanghai Sensetime Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Macao AI and Blockchain Technology Research Association, and Huawei Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd., to support the forum. The event also received academic backing from Tsinghua University's Five Daokou School of Finance and comprehensive media coverage from Hongqiao Star Immersive Digital Forest Media.
The forum brought together top scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry elites from around the globe. Distinguished speakers included Mr. Ren Fuji, Honorary Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and Mr. Yang Jincan, Chairman of the World Drone Conference. Representatives from leading companies such as Huawei and Sensetime also contributed to the discussions.
During the forum, the AIIA played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Global AI Cooperation Alliance. Aimed at fostering global collaboration in AI, the alliance seeks to contribute to technological advancement and societal welfare. The founding members of the alliance encompass representatives from various international organizations and companies, highlighting the AIIA's dedication to nurturing international partnerships in AI.
