International AI Industry Alliance, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, and Macau Doctor Think Tank Explore Future Cooperation Potential

Amidst the backdrop of global economic integration and technological innovation, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is emerging as a pivotal engine for regional economic development and scientific innovation. Today, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base had the honor of hosting a delegation led by Guo Sheng, Executive President of Guangdong Enterprise Management Consulting Association, and Wu Zhilei, Secretary-General of Macau Doctor Think Tank. Together with Cai, Secretary-General of the International AI Industry Alliance, and Chen Shan, Chief Operating Officer of the Incubation Base, we engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at fostering deeper integration between Macao and the GBA in areas such as social resource introduction, technology commercialization, and talent collaboration. These efforts are designed to enhance new quality productivity and drive comprehensive progress in the regional economy and society.

Macau SAR Government's "1+4" Economic Diversification Strategy

The Macau SAR government is actively implementing its "1+4" economic diversification strategy, vigorously promoting community economic development, and strengthening cultural exchanges and cooperation with the GBA to achieve mutual understanding among the people. Against this backdrop, the exchange between the Alliance, the Incubation Base, and the Think Tank aims to explore how to promote diverse and rich cultural exchanges between Guangdong and Macao through the linkage of Macao's community economy.

Sharing by Secretary-General Cai of the International AI Industry Alliance

Secretary-General Cai shared the strengths of the International AI Industry Alliance's pool of academician experts in the field of artificial intelligence and discussed the application of AI technology in traditional industries, such as intelligent manufacturing and smart healthcare, to accelerate industrial upgrading. A plan to host international seminars was proposed, inviting global academicians and experts to share their experiences and bring an international perspective to businesses in both regions.


Vision by Chief Operating Officer Chen of the Incubation Base

Chief Operating Officer Chen presented the concept of the Incubation Base as a platform for resource docking, exploring the idea of jointly establishing a technology incubator. This initiative aims to drive the transformation of traditional industries into higher value-added sectors through technological innovation, finding new economic growth curves for businesses. A talent exchange program was also discussed, providing internships, exchanges, and training opportunities for young people in both regions, and strengthening talent linkage between the two areas. This includes organizing activities such as academic discussions, cultural exchanges, and project docking to enhance cultural exchange and integration.

Introduction by Secretary-General Wu of Macau Doctor Think Tank

Secretary-General Wu introduced the background and mission of the Macau Doctor Think Tank, established in 2018 with the strong support of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' Law Institute. Comprising professionals from various sectors, including civil servants, lawyers, teachers, and those from finance and healthcare, the Think Tank is a strategic academic institution. Actively promoting cooperation with various organizations and universities in Shenzhen, Nansha, and Guangzhou, the Think Tank aims to build a platform and bridge to attract resources and strength from all sides. This effort is designed to facilitate the integration of Macao's youth into the national development agenda and contribute youthful vigor to the integrated development of Guangdong and Macao and the construction of the Greater Bay Area.

These initial exchanges have provided a platform for future cooperation between Macao and the GBA's enterprises, promoting regional economic prosperity and social harmony.
