Member of the Danish Academy of Science; AIChE Fellow; IChemE Fellow; CEO of the PSE for SPEED company; Distinguished Adjunct Professor at HKUST (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) in Guangzhou, and at ECUST (East China University of Science and Technology) in Shanghai; Distinguished Research Professor at Széchenyi István University at Győr (Hungary); Former Professor in systems design at the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark.

Research Interests / Specializations:

The development and application of AI-based computer aided methods and tools for modelling; property estimation; process-product synthesis, design & intensification; and process-product-tools integration with emphasis on energy, sustainability, and application of a systems approach.
