From January 16 to 17, 2025, the International AI IndustryAlliance, joined hands with the Forbes China AI Enterprise Selection Committeeto embark on an in-depth visit to the AI sector in Guangdong. The visit was ledby Cai Zhongtao, Secretary-General of the Alliance, and Chen Shan, DeputySecretary-General, with participation from Mao Wenji, Chairman of the ForbesChina Selection Committee, and Cheng Xiao, Head of the Overseas Division. Theywere accompanied by Zhu Fang, Executive Secretary-General of the Guangdong AIIndustry Association; Wang Fei, Secretary-General of the Guangzhou TianheScience Park Information Industry Association; Jiang Wei, Head of the PrivateBoard of the Guangdong Venture Capital Association; and Jiang Cui, DeputySecretary-General of the Alliance. They visited several leading AI enterprises,including Midea, JiaDu Technology, Turing Intelligence Computing, XAG, 3D HomeTechnology, Zhongneng Shibei, Titanium Motion Technology, Yunqu Technology, andthe Pazu Laboratory team led by Academician Chen Junlong.
During the visit, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions around several core topics. Chairman Mao Wenji of the Forbes China AI Enterprise Selection Committee provided a detailed introduction to the authority and influence of the Forbes AI list, as well as the application process and criteria. He encouraged enterprises to actively participate and leverage the list to enhance their brand visibility and industry influence. Representatives from the enterprises expressed their eagerness to be listed and inquired about the details, hoping to make a mark on this prestigious list and elevate their brand value. They also aimed to utilize Forbes' extensive political, commercial, and capital.
In the exchanges, Academician Liu Xiangyang from Midea Group introduced the company's cutting-edge exploration in the smart home sector, demonstrating how AI is deeply integrated into home appliances to achieve intelligent interaction and energy-efficient control, significantly enhancing the intelligence of home life scenarios.
Dr. Wang Kai, Chief AI Scientist at JiaDu Group, shared the company's innovative practices in urban rail transit and security. Its advanced facial recognition and trajectory tracking technologies have been widely applied in urban security systems to promote smart city upgrades. Chairman Mao Wenji expressed his expectation for cooperation with JiaDu Technology to jointly create a smart transportation ecosystem.
Liu Miao, founder of Turing Intelligence Computing (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., discussed the company's focus on the AI computing power market. Relying on its self-developed computing power dispatch system, the company meets the algorithmic needs of various industries accurately and cost-effectively. He also shared new progress in how AI is driving scientific research breakthroughs and empowering the pharmaceutical industry, significantly improving industry efficiency and precision, and solving many pain points of traditional models.
Qian Shutong, head of the public affairs division at XAG, introduced the company's achievements in agricultural technology. Its drones can accurately identify crop diseases and pests and plan spraying routes intelligently, greatly improving agricultural production efficiency and contributing to rural revitalization.
Xu Minghua, General Manager of 3D Home Technology Co., Ltd., explained how the company uses AI to empower home design and industrial production, achieving a seamless digital transformation from design to production and driving the digitalization of the industry. Liu Yongjian, Deputy Dean of Zhongneng Shibei Industrial Intelligence Research Institute, and Guo Liyao, Director of Public Affairs, showcased the application of AI in the industrial sector, especially in the energy and power industry. Using multimodal large models like CyberwLLM, they have developed equipment fault diagnosis and prediction models to enhance the reliability and stability of equipment operation and explore new paths for energy saving and efficiency improvement.
The Forbes delegation also invited the team led by Academician Chen Junlong (Pazu Laboratory) to participate in the Forbes Influential Personalities list selection. Deputy Dean Zhang Tong of the School of Computer Science at South China University of Technology reported on the team's multiple research achievements, which hold significant importance in addressing human mental illnesses and sleep disorders. Team member Dr. Zhang Hongzhao, founder of KESU Technology, showcased six products developed using the large model technology from Academician Chen's team.

The strong collaboration between the International AI Industry Alliance and Forbes China has brought enterprises a feast of investment resources from a global perspective. Chairman Mao Wenji also provided a detailed interpretation of local industrial support policies to help enterprises open up a third financing channel. Forbes' Middle East resources can attract a large amount of high-quality capital for enterprises, helping them establish a market presence in the Middle East and connect with international capital and markets. The Forbes membership club, which gathers a large number of Chinese listed companies, can efficiently match resources for enterprises.
This visit and exchange activity further understood more than ten AI enterprises in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan, providing a more comprehensive understanding of AI enterprises in Guangdong Province. The alliance plans to conduct a focused survey on enterprises in Shenzhen after the Spring Festival, combining the current situation of AI enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to allocate resources and help enterprises stand out in global competition. Enterprises participating in this survey are confident about future cooperation and look forward to jointly creating a brilliant future for the AI industry.
