The Oxford University ML research group uses statistics to deal with information and uncertainty in a variety of research areas, including citizen science, biology, public health, autonomous intelligent systems and livestock.
The Machine Learning Institute at the University of Oxford is made up of like-minded research groups led by Oxford professors. It is a subgroup within Information Engineering within the Department of Engineering Sciences at the University of Oxford.This is one of the core groups of the wider Oxford machine learning community and has some particular overlap with the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance.
